| R6 Round-Pile Feeder |
 The continuous-load ROUND-PILE FEEDER is
for feeding longer-size sheets up to 40" long.
Load slightly shingled paper onto the table and
belts bring it down around a feed drum.
The top-suction wheel moves the sheets toward
the folder with the aid of front and side air blasts.

side of the pile, are adjustable
to help feed long and difficult-to-feed stock.

SAF Feeder
This continuous-load BOTTOM
SUCTION FEEDER has air channels
in the side rails that separate
and lift sheets to allow the
bottom-suction drum to draw
the paper to the anti-static
stainless steel register table.
A single control automatically
synchronizes the speed of
both the feeder and folder for
smooth production.
A single-sheet control allows
sheets to feed at a reduced
rate to minimize setup time
during changeovers.
The sheet length and gap
between sheets can be controlled
to accommodate
gluing or other applications.
The vacuum time on the sheets
can be precisely programmed
to allow folding of stock as
light as 27# offset. |

FL2 Feeder
Suction heads lift the sheets at the (1) REAR
SEPARATING FEED SYSTEM. Air blasts aerate and
separate the sheets, making it possible to feed long or
difficult-to-handle sheets.
2 A DRUM SUCTION INFEED WHEEL, shielded by a safety
cover, transfers the paper onto the registration table
toward the folding rollers. Optional side air blasts aid in
the consistent transfer of sheets.
An optional quick-set double-sheet detector is available
to ensure accurate feeding.
The rear separating feed system lifts up and out of the
way for easy loading.

RS Roll Sheeter
Web printers can use the ROLL FEEDER with the SVA
folder, enhancing their cost-saving advantages of roll
paper and roll printing.
Electronically controlled sheeting is done automatically
by a rotary knife—activated by the reading of a registration
print mark on each leaflet.
The length of the leaflet is determined by the circumference
of a draw-off roller. A draw-off roller is required
for each length.
The feeder can be equipped with a single- or doubleroll
unwind stand.

 SVA DRUM SUCTION FEEDER |

The SVA DRUM SUCTION FEEDER is a built-in, continuous-load, bottom-suction feeder which feeds sheets directly into the folding rollers. This facilitates the feeding of extremely lightweight, difficult-to-feed stock.
1 The AIR TABLE and front air blasts aid the transfer of all types of paper from the lightest pharmaceuti-cal to 60# offset.
2 The LOW-PILE SENSOR shuts down the operation to avoid paper jams when the pile is too low in rela-tion to the air blasts. |

steel for durability.

 SVA VARIABLE-SPEED TRANSFER UNIT |

For optimum performance, add the SVA VARIABLE-SPEED TRANSFER UNIT, an independent drive that carries the paper from the parallel section of Station I to the side guide of Station II.
You can control the speed of the paper travelling through the transfer unit apart from the folder speed.
It allows you to alternate the position where the paper enters the folding rollers of Station II by job, so the full width of the roller can be utilized for uniform wear along the rollers.

The ergonomically located CONTROL PANELS swivel for easy visibility.
1 The optional MCS 106 PREDETERMINED COUNTER performs total and batch counting.
It displays readouts of the total and batch counts and the current production speed by digital tachometer.
A 0- to 10-second delay can be set to pause the feeding process to create batches.
For batch counting with the vertical-stack delivery, you enter the number of pieces per batch to trigger the unit’s ejector magnet which staggers a piece to mark a batch.
2 REMOTE CONTROL, which can be hand held,
allows the operator to have infinite speed control
of Station I, and to start and stop production
without returning to the main panel.

VIJUK MV-97 OUTSERT ATTACHMENTS
Ribbon Style or RTA (right-turn-angle) Style MV-97
Outsert Attachments (patented) can be added to
the SVA folders for the production of miniature
outsert leaflets.
Outserts are leaflets with the final edges folded
inward. They can be spot glued to keep them
compact and intact, making them easier to handle
and able to withstand high-speed applications.
On packaging lines with an outsert applicator, both
styles of finished outsert leaflets can be securely
affixed directly to the outside of pharmaceutical
bottles or small items to eliminate the necessity and
cost of additional packaging.
The MV-97 Ribbon Style Outsert Attachment makes
parallel folds, slits, and glues—producing outserts on
a multiple-up basis. It comes with 8 standard gluing
heads. A ninth head is optional.
The MV-97 RTA (right-turn-angle) Style Outsert
Attachment makes perpendicular cross folds and
glues—giving you the ability to fold larger size leaflets
to meet the demands for increased copy space.
It can be attached to either Station I or Station II. |
