WHY ROLL-FED FOLDING?

Security:
Minimizes the possibility of leaflet mix-ups.

Economy:
Roll-to-roll printing is less expensive than sheet-fed printing.
Roll paper is less expensive than cut sheets.
No pre-cutting is necessary. Sheeting is done automatically on-line, saving valuable production time.
There is no paper waste because no trimming is necessary.
Product spoilage is at a minimum because there are no loose sheets to double up or be misaligned.

Trouble Free Operation:
Roll feeding has far fewer paper jams than sheet feeding.

Advantageous design and construction...
Solid cast iron construction ensures long-term durability.
Self-compensating, spring-loaded rollers do not require adjustments unless there is an extreme change in weight of stock.
Special combination of steel and urethane rollers with self-cleaning action results in longer roller life.
Paper moves smoothly through polished aluminum guides.
Folding plates and deflectors are made of a wear-resistant, anti-static material.
Hardened Helical gears with toothed belts provide quiet, slip-free operation.

MCS-106 Predetermined Counter:
Digital display readout of batch counting and production speed by digital tachometer.
Controls the ejector magnet (kicker) that "kicks out" a finished piece at a preset number to indicate batches of finished pieces.
0 to 10 second delay setting can be used to pause the feeding process between batches.
Dual start buttons guard against accidental starts while setting up.
Stop buttons for deactivating feeder cycle and emergency stops.

VIJUK-G&K EK 300 Knife Folding Attachment:
When leaflets are too small to be handled in the right angle or too thick for buckle folding, the EK 300 can make that one final cross-fold and is designed for folding miniature/pharmaceutical leaflets down to 1/2".
The EK 300 has a built-in vertical delivery unit and an optional ejector magnet (kicker) for separating a preset amount of finished pieces.

VIJUK-G&K SVA Folder Station II or Station III

MV-97 Outsert Attachment...

Ribbon style or RTA (right-turn-angle) style MV-97 Outsert Attachments (patented) can be added to the SVA folders for the production of miniature outsert leaflets.

The MV-97 Ribbon Style Outsert Attachment makes parallel folds, slits, and glues--producing outserts on a multiple-up basis.

The MV-97 RTA (right-turn-angle) Style Outsert Attachment makes cross (perpendicular) folds and glues--giving you the ability to fold larger-size leaflets to meet the demands for increased copy space.

Outsert attachments can be attached to either Station I or Station II.

The MV-97 comes with eight standard gluing heads. A ninth head is optional.

The MV-97 Outsert Attachments can also be attached to the RS Series Folders and the H+H KL 112 Folders.
